How to get rid of stains on luxury vinyl floor
If you do end up with a stain on your luxury vinyl tiles, don’t worry, it should be easy to remove, here’s how.
- Start with a damp cloth or mop and some mild dish soap.
- For dirt that’s more dried-in, try gently loosening it with a soft-bristled brush, a tooth brush works really well on small areas.
- If it really won’t shift, you can turn to a shop-bought chemical cleaner. Just make sure it says it’s safe to use on luxury vinyl tiles (it might say ‘LVT flooring’). Never use wax or abrasive cleaners as they can dull or scratch your floor’s finish.
- Always wipe down your floor with a damp cloth to remove any residue and let it dry thoroughly before anyone walks on it.
