How our fitting arrangement service works

Professional floor fitting is the easy way to realise the beautifully fitted floor of your dreams. And we’re here to arrange everything for you.

Step 1: Book your floor fitting

Simply add professional floor fitting when you check out online or let us know when you order in store. We’ll make all the arrangements.

Step 2: Prepare the area

Before your flooring is fitted, check that the subfloor is stable and level. Old flooring needs to be taken up, and we recommend you remove damageable items.

Step 3: Wait to hear from your fitter

Whether you’ve booked a morning or an afternoon slot, your fitter will give you a call the morning of your fitting to let you know when they’ll arrive.

Step 4: Enjoy your new fitted flooring

As well as fitting your flooring, your fitter will bag up and take away any off-cuts, and then finish the job by thoroughly vacuuming your new floor.

Extra floor fitting services

Make the most of professional floor fitting by adding extra services when you place your order. An additional cost for each service will apply.

Taking up your old flooring

We can take up your old flooring if you don’t want to do this yourself. We can either leave it with you or take it away and dispose of it.

Preparing the subfloor

Your subfloor must be level and stable before new flooring is fitted. We can arrange for it to be checked and levelled, and then it may need to settle for a day.

Trimming doors and flooring

To ensure room doors open and close easily over your new flooring, your fitter can trim the lower edges of doors or shave excess flooring.

Turning excess carpet into rugs

Your fitter can collect any excess carpet for carpet whipping. We’ll finish the edges with a whipstitch and turn them into rugs, mats or stair runners.
